What GitLoom Does
GitLoom translates GitHub activity into clear, business-friendly insights. We connect to your GitHub repositories (with your permission) to analyze development activity and generate reports that make technical progress understandable to non-technical stakeholders.
Your Account
To use GitLoom, you'll need to create an account with accurate information. You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
How We Handle Your GitHub Data
Your Data Remains Yours
We don't claim ownership of your GitHub data or code. You retain all rights to your repositories and code.
What We Access
We only access the GitHub repositories you explicitly authorize us to access. We won't look at repositories you haven't connected to GitLoom.
How We Use GitHub Data
We use your GitHub data only to:
Generate reports and insights for you
Improve our service
Maintain and troubleshoot our service
We won't use your GitHub data to:
Sell or share with third parties
Create competitive products
Train AI models unrelated to improving GitLoom's functionality
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your GitHub Data, including:
Secure, access-controlled storage systems
Regular security audits and testing
Authentication protocols to prevent unauthorized access
Data minimization (we only store what's necessary for the Service)
Automatic deletion of sensitive data after processing
We process your GitHub Data primarily to generate reports and only retain the content and metadata necessary for our service to function. We never access or maintain full copies of your source code.
Despite these protections, no online service can guarantee absolute security. You acknowledge that you provide GitHub Data at your own risk, and we recommend connecting only repositories you're comfortable sharing with a third-party service.
